What is ABA?
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
A type of therapy based on learning and behavior. A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) completes an intake interview, observation, and assessment of your child's current strengths and areas to work on. The BCBA then completes an individualized treatment plan with goals based on the unique needs of your child and family. Following the approval of the treatment plan (by both caregivers AND insurance providers if using insurance), ABA therapy treatment begins. Your child will be working 1:1 on the skills in the treatment plan with a direct service provider. Throughout treatment, data is collected on your child's progress. The BCBA continually monitors this treatment progress and provides supervision to the direct service provider. This ensures that treatment programs are run correctly and that your child continues to progress through their treatment plan.
At Bee-YOU-tiful ABA, we strongly believe in and follow the Communication Bill of Rights and the 7 Dimensions of ABA.
